The beautiful thing about golf (besides getting to spend a couple hours with friends, family or complete strangers) is that you can play where the professionals play. There are certain golf shots you remember watching and when you get to that same spot on the golf course, you and your group allow yourselves to stop and visualize that shot in reality.
"Better than most.... better than most!!!" Jim Nantz was not kidding. When I saw the flag in the same position as it was during Tiger Wood's putt at the 17th hole on The Player's Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, I did what every other great fan of golf would do. I missed the putt. Not only because it moved in three different directions, but so Tiger could keep his reigning title of "Better Than Most."
I had the absolute pleasure of teeing up on the 18th hole of Kapalua's Plantation course and watching a ball just keep going. It was the first time all day that I didn't lose focus due to the stunning beauty that surrounds each and every shot. I just watched my tee shot fly for what seemed to be forever and then rolled forever and ever.
I get to replay shots like that in my mind while I watch PGA tournaments on television. You can play on the same field.
Have you played in Fenway Park? Nope. Lambeau Field? Nope. Perhaps you've been to these stadiums but you've never played them.
How about thinking about it this way. The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island? Yup. Pinehurst No. 2? Yup. Whistling Straits? Yup. Blue Monster? Yup. Can Worldwide Golf Vacations help you get there? Yup!
